Episode 46 - Christopher West on His Techniques for Communicating to a Mass Audience

If we want to be part of the New Evangelization then some of us are meant to be old-school evangelists too! Here Christopher West and I talk about his techniques for communicating complex theological concepts to a mass audience in an interesting and engaging way.

We discuss our belief that everyone is meant to be the poet who is called to communicate some aspect of the Faith to others in their own way. This is as much about discerning vocation as it is about learning techniques of communication.

We suffered a technical hitch, by the way, and Christopher couldn’t engage his video. I thought about only offering the audio but decided in the end that some might like to watch me talking and responding to Christopher on the phone!

Our inspiration is St John Chrysostom - ‘golden mouth’ - but each of us can be golden mouthed and honey tongued if we are true to our personal vocation.
