New Full-length Movie with Screenplay by Pontifex University Faculty Member, Caleb Brown

Congratulations to Caleb Brown, who is a good friend and on the faculty of Pontifex University, for the recent release of a full-length feature movie, Blue Ridge. Caleb, who teaches Christian Humanism in Contemporary Cinema, a wonderful course on the Master of Sacred Arts program at Pontifex University, co-wrote the screenplay for this film.

The plot centers on a murder in a sleepy town deep in the Blue Ridge Mountains, which reawakens a longstanding feud. It stars Johnathon Schaetch, Sarah Lancaster, and Graham Greene. You can see the full cast and crew on the IMDB page and can rent the movie here.

Here’s the trailer:

I hope to have an interview with Caleb to post about this movie and his philosophy for the transformation of Christian culture through his work in the film soon. That’s assuming he can find the time of course - suddenly he’s a man in demand!
